The water we drink today is the same that amphibians swam in millions of years ago. To some, water is holy, others fill it in bottles and sell it. For sure, water is essential for life.
The Scots consider it the other way round. In Scottish Gaelic, uisge beatha means water of life. Whisky.
The video was filmed at the Etang de Gruère in the Swiss Jura at almost 1’000 meter height. The lake in a moor was formed in the 17th century, when a dam was built for a mill. Early in the morning when the sun is still low, there is mist on the water and it’s hard to believe that the magic of light meeting water not only happens once.
Below are some stills from the video.
