Fadhail Losgaintir (or Luskentyre in English) is a large, shallow bay on the Isle of Harris. The green-blue water sculptures the white sand and constantly creates new rippling patterns. When the sun sets, the warm light contrasts with cool blue shadows.
While taking photographs at dawn, I placed my bag on the ground. After a few minutes, when I turned my head, the bag was already surrounded by sea. Flood tide had set in… The tidal range at the Outer Hebrides can reach four metres. Lucky to have the bag placed on its rain cover, so it stayed dry.
