In Rwanda, cargo bicycles are widely used for the transportation of goods and passengers. The bikes have to be robust as the cargo can reach a weight of 100 kg or more. They are often colorfully decorated and equipped with horns. In the land of a thousand hills, cyclists often try to get a grip on a truck to let it pull them uphill. At a speed of 80 km/h they have no chance to see the potholes on the road. It looks scary when the cyclists descend the hills and go around the curves at breeakneck speed.
